John James

John James has an extensive work experience in various leadership roles and as a co-founder. John is currently the Founding Managing Director at BOKA Group Holdings I LP since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chairman & Founder and later as the CEO & Founder of BetaSmartz from 2015 to 2021. In 2005, they co-founded Boka Group. John also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Fusion Acquisition Corp. II from February 2021 to December 2023 and at Fusion Acquisition Corp. from June 2020 to September 2021. Additionally, John James was a Co-Founder & Investor at ScalaMed from February 2017 to July 2022, which was acquired by Cardinal Health in July 2022.

John James has a Master of Arts (MA) degree from the University of Oxford, which they obtained between 2000 and 2005. John also studied Law at the University of London from 2001 to 2002. In 2015, John pursued further education in Managerial Accounting and Digital Marketing at the Gies College of Business - University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In addition to their academic qualifications, John has obtained a certification called "Integrity Matters" from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) in 2015.
