Chanaka Irugalbandara

Chanaka Irugalbandara has been working in the software and user experience industry since 2006. Chanaka began their career at Dreamteam Solutions as the Head of Web Department. In 2009, they moved to Seecomnet Solutions as the Creative Director. Chanaka then worked at Digital Glare as Creative Designer from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2014, they were a UI Developer at Content Management and Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. Chanaka then worked at CodeGen International from 2014 to 2019, where they held the roles of Lead - User Experience, Associate Lead - User Experience, Senior UI/UX Engineer, and UX Engineer. Finally, they are currently a Senior Product Designer at Bokio, a position they have held since 2022.

Chanaka Irugalbandara received a BCS in Information Technology from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT between 2013 and 2015. Chanaka has also obtained several certifications, including Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate from Coursera in November 2021, Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design from Coursera in September 2021, Product Design from Udacity in August 2019, UX Concepts from Brainbench in July 2016, Advanced SASS from Treehouse Inc., Browser Rendering Optimization from Udacity, Foundations of UX from Lynda.com, Modular CSS with SASS from Treehouse Inc., and Rapid Website Prototyping from Treehouse Inc.
