Maria Edsman

Maria Edsman has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Maria has most recently served as the CEO of Bokusgruppen since April 2018. Prior to this, they were a Board Member at Rusta starting from June 2016.

Maria also has a background in sales, having worked as the Sales Director at Akademibokhandeln AB from August 2014. Additionally, they founded Galadriel AB in March 2014.

In terms of board memberships, Maria served as a Board Member at Lammhults Design Group from April 2013 to April 2017, and at Intersport Sverige from April 2014 to August 2015.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Maria held executive roles as the CEO of Brothers & Sisters AB from September 2012 to February 2014, and the CEO of Polarn O. Pyret AB from April 2010 to September 2012.

Earlier in their career, Maria worked at V&S Group as the Vice President of Marketing from September 2005 to March 2009. During their time at V&S Group, they led a team of 22 people and was responsible for assortment and marketing strategy, product and concept development, as well as business relations with international brand owners.

Maria also briefly worked as a consultant at Maria Öqvist Consulting from April 2009 to April 2010, where they provided strategy, marketing, and business development consulting services.

Maria Edsman's education history includes attending the Stockholm School of Economics from 1988 to 1992. During this time, they pursued a degree in Civilekonom/Master of Science in Business Administration, specializing in International Business. Additionally, in 1992, they briefly attended The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, although the degree pursued or field of study for this period is not specified.
