Jing Rao

Jing Rao is a seasoned Database Engineer with extensive experience in database management and system maintenance. Currently employed at bol.com since November 2014, Jing focuses on ensuring business continuity through comprehensive monitoring of database servers using tools such as Nagios and Opsview. Prior to this role, Jing served as a MySQL Database Administrator at SPIL GAMES from November 2011 to November 2014, where responsibilities included analyzing metrics and log files. Earlier career stages included positions as a System Maintenance Engineer and Product Technical Support Engineer at Beijing Itownet Cyber Technology Ltd, contributing to the e-government web declaring systems in China. Jing commenced professional training with an internship at China Certification & Inspection Group Hubei Co., Ltd. Jing holds a Master’s degree in International Management of Information Systems from Roehampton University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology. Additionally, Jing is currently pursuing further education at Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
