Brandon Hayes is the founder and principal of Bold Bison Communications and Consulting, established in September 2019, specializing in innovative communications solutions for nonprofits, particularly in conservation, climate, local food, and the arts. Concurrently, Brandon serves as the owner and photographer for Out in the Parks, a venture that produces fine art photographs of National Parks while supporting non-profit partners. Prior to these roles, Brandon held key positions at Openlands, including Director of Communications and Associate Director of Communications, where strategic oversight of external communications and media was prioritized. Earlier experience includes managing communications at Marwen and publicity at Goodman Theatre, alongside foundational roles at Thresholds and the American Mathematical Society. Brandon holds a BA in Humanities with a focus on Art History, English, and History from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
