Sydney Zheng

Sydney Zheng is an accomplished social media manager and content creator currently serving on the UCLA Student Affairs Media Team while simultaneously managing Bold.org's social media presence, where strategies have successfully grown follower engagement to over 250,000. Zheng’s community outreach expertise is demonstrated through the role as Community Outreach Coordinator at Garfield Health Center, successfully coordinating events and securing over $20,000 in sponsorships to assist underserved populations. Additional research experience includes internships in structural biology and undergraduate research at UCLA and California State University, Los Angeles, focusing on plant immune receptors and bacterial virulence, respectively. Sydney is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Public Health at UCLA, having previously obtained an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences from East Los Angeles College.
