Victor Calvo Serra has work experience in various engineering roles. Victor is currently a Senior Battery Systems Engineer at BOLD, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Helix, where they held multiple positions from 2018 to 2023. These roles included Senior Analysis Engineer, Analysis Engineer, and Graduate Engineer. At Helix, they were involved in the design and optimization of electrical machines for high-power density applications, as well as the development of simulation tools for electric machine design. Before joining Helix, Victor worked as a Battery Pack R&D Engineer at Dachs Electrónica from 2016 to 2017. Their responsibilities included battery package technology selection and testing. Victor also has experience as a Team Leader & Powertrain Engineer and Treasurer & Management Engineer at ETSEIB Motorsport from 2014 to 2016, where they managed a Formula Student team and was responsible for financial management and the development of an electric vehicle powertrain model.

Victor Calvo Serra has a strong academic background in engineering. Victor completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Industrial Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Automatic Control at the same university from 2015 to 2018.

In 2014, Victor also obtained a Certificate in Advanced English from the University of Cambridge, showcasing their proficiency in the English language.

Additionally, Victor further enhanced their engineering expertise by pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Automotive Mechatronics at Cranfield University from 2017 to 2018.
