Barbara Pin has extensive experience in startup initiatives and business development, currently serving as a Startup Analyst and Coaching Manager at Fondazione AGIRE | Tecnopolo Ticino since January 2017, where responsibilities include analyzing and supporting the creation and growth of new businesses. In addition, Barbara has been the Program Manager for the Boldbrain Startup Challenge since January 2018 and has previously held prominent roles such as Organizer and Promoter for Hack the City and Co-founder of Nearbors. Earlier career positions include Directress at Plastical, Co-founder at Tipiù, and various assistant roles. Barbara holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, as well as other qualifications in commerce and language studies.

Boldbrain has been established to implement the Canton's start-ups support strategy and with the aim to make Ticino a place where new businesses can take place and grow. Boldbrain Startup Challenge is an accelerator in Ticino for start-ups at early stage.
