Liad Marom

Senior Product Development Engineer at Bolder Surgical

Liad Marom began their career in 2013 as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University, where they designed, performed, and analyzed wind tunnel experiments in laminar flow, manufactured and improved the actuator performance, optimized the distributions of actuators on the aerodynamic surface, and designed, assembled and operated a conveyable stereo PIV system for complex 3D analysis of vortexes. They also served as a Teaching Assistant. In 2016, Liad Marom joined Valve Medical as an R&D Engineer, where they led projects from concept to rapid prototyping, manufacturing, validation and verification and onto clinical use. They designed simple to complex components and were involved in their evaluation, testing and troubleshooting. In 2019, Liad Marom began working at Meddux Development Corporation as a Product Development Engineer II and III, where they worked on medical devices at all stages from initial concept development to mid-scale manufacturing for early market release. In 2021, Liad Marom began working at Bolder Surgical as a Senior Product Development Engineer.

Liad Marom earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University in 2014, followed by a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University in 2016.
