Brittany Weller, PhD, PMP has a diverse work experience in the field of scientific and medical services. Brittany started their career as a Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics Intern at Merck in 2008. Brittany then worked as a Graduate Student in the Department of Pharmacology at Duke University Medical Center, where they conducted research on protein targets for infectious diseases, focusing on dengue virus, yellow fever virus, and hepatitis C.

After completing their PhD, Brittany joined Wake Technical Community College as an Adjunct Instructor from 2011 to 2014. Brittany taught various courses during this time. In 2014, they moved on to become a Client Training & Clinical Content Developer at eBroselow,LLC, where they developed and maintained a training program for clients of the eBroselow enterprise system. Brittany also conducted research on therapeutic interventions and their accurate dosing.

Brittany further enhanced their expertise in the medical writing field by working as a Trusted Process Specialist at INC Research in 2015. In this role, they provided subject matter expertise and ensured compliance with regulatory standards for various clinical research projects. Subsequently, they joined Education & Training Systems International (ETSI) as a Medical Writer/Editor, where they managed content and projects for clients, identified training opportunities, and provided project leadership.

From 2015 to 2020, Brittany served as a Senior Medical Writer/Project Leader at ETSI, continuing to manage projects and teams while also contributing to content creation. In 2020, they joined Springer Healthcare as a Content Development Manager, where they led scientific services for key client accounts and managed all medical-related aspects of projects.

Most recently, Brittany became an Instructor at Duke University School of Law in 2014, teaching a course on biosimilar/biologics FDA regulation in collaboration with law professors specializing in international IP and global health law.

Currently, Brittany is working as an Associate Scientific Director at BOLDSCIENCE, leading a team of medical writers and overseeing a wide range of complex projects in various therapeutic areas. Brittany provides scientific guidance to internal teams and clients, ensures high-quality standards, and translates technical scientific data into accessible deliverables for different audiences.

Brittany Weller, PhD, PMP has a strong educational background in the field of science and project management. Brittany obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The College of New Jersey from 2005 to 2009. Following that, they pursued their passion for research and earned their PhD in Pharmacology from Duke University from 2009 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Brittany has also obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills and knowledge. Brittany successfully obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2015, showcasing their expertise in project management.
