Karina Zając-Egekan

Karina Zając-Egekan has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as an English Second Language Teacher at Little Sun Early Childhood Kindergarten. Karina taught students ranging from 6 months to 11 years old, created lesson plans for over 600 students, and prepared learning materials.

In 2014, Karina worked as a Graphic Designer Internship at Hyperfox. Karina developed corporate identity concepts, created posters, brochures, and business cards, and produced storyboards for explainer videos.

Karina then interned as a 3D Artist at Dreambox - Communication Design Studio in 2015. During this time, they assisted with 3D modeling and texturing using 3ds Max and Photoshop, researched and prepared design concepts for 3D environments, and designed corporate identity concepts.

From 2016 to 2018, Karina worked as a 3D Artist/3D Modeler at Dash Dot Creations. Karina executed high and low poly models for animations, games, and TV spots using Maya, 3ds Max, and Zbrush. Karina also unwrapped models, painted textures, and prepared them for the next production phases.

As a freelancer from 2018 to 2022, Karina worked as a 3D Artist and Graphic Designer. Karina sculpted and modeled high and low poly models using 3ds Max and Zbrush, unwrapped models and visualized textures using Photoshop, Zbrush, and Substance Painter. Additionally, they collaborated with clients on designs for posters, brochures, and business cards.

Currently, Karina is working at BOLDSCIENCE as a 3D Generalist since 2022.

Karina Zając-Egekan's education history includes various programs and degrees in the field of design and animation. Karina participated in an Auditing program and Exchange program at the Centre for Digital Media, where they focused on 3D designing. Karina also pursued a Master's Degree in 3D Animation and Special Effects at Dolnośląska Szkoła Wyższa. Additionally, Karina obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from Uniwersytet Rzeszowski.

Karina further enhanced their skills and knowledge by completing a Certificate in 3D Visualization from Szkolenia T.E. Prestige and participating in an Exchange program for Graphic Design at Anadolu University through Erasmus.

In terms of additional certifications, Karina has completed the following courses: Fundamentals of Digital Marketing from Google Digital Garage, Introduction to 3D Animation (Cinema 4D Basecamp) from School of Motion, and Maya: Fundamentals of Medical Animations from LinkedIn.
