Adam McElroy

Adam McElroy is a highly experienced engineering professional with a career spanning over a decade in the mining and minerals sector. Currently serving as a Specialist Development Engineer at Boliden since February 2014, Adam has held multiple roles including Senior Development Engineer and Process Manager, overseeing a team of engineers and technicians and leading process development projects. Previously, Adam worked as a Process Engineer at Mineral Engineering Technical Services and occupied various positions at Omagh Minerals Ltd, including Mill Superintendent and Metallurgist. Earlier career experiences include roles at WaterCut Ltd and Boliden Tara Mines, where responsibilities ranged from workshop management to operational support in processing plants. Adam holds an MSc in Minerals Engineering from the University of Exeter and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Galway.
