Daniel Eklund

Daniel Eklund has a strong background in the energy and mining industry. Daniel is currently working as the Director Technology at Boliden since August 2019. Prior to their current role, they were the Assignment Manager at Åf-Infrastructure AB from July 2018 to August 2019. Daniel also served as a Member of the Board at Stiftelsen Bergteknisk Forskning from May 2016 to August 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked at Svensk Kärnbränslehantering AB as the Manager Project from December 2010 to July 2018. Before that, they were an Avdelningschef at Vattenfall AB from January 2005 to December 2010. Daniel started their career at Vattenfall Research & Development AB as a Projektledare from October 1999 to January 2005.

Daniel Eklund obtained their degree in Jord & Bergmekanik from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 1999. In 2019, they also completed the IPMA Level B certification in Project Management from IPMA, International Project Management Association.
