Loraine Berthet

Loraine Berthet has extensive work experience in the field of geology, with a focus on resource estimation and geologic modeling. Loraine began their career as a Resource Geologist at AREVA NC, where they evaluated uranium resources and reserves in Kazakhstan and conducted modeling of U deposits in the Athabasca basin. Loraine then worked as a Resource Geologist at AREVA Mines, where they were involved in various exploration projects in Canada, Niger, and Gabon. During this time, they also assisted in the annual resource and reserve reports. Berthet later served as the Head of Resource Geology at Koniambo Nickel SAS before transitioning to a role as an Independent Consultant, where they worked on various resource estimation projects for different companies. Loraine then joined Boliden as a Kevitsa Mine Senior Geologist, responsible for geology data and modeling, resource estimation, and grade control. Loraine was later promoted to Head of Section, overseeing Mineral Resource development and other related activities.

Loraine Berthet earned a Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences - Mineral Resources from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Géologie from 2005 to 2009. Additionally, they obtained another Master's degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Exploration and Environmental Geosciences from Luleå University of Technology from 2008 to 2009.
