Bengt Forsling

Bengt Forsling serves as Chef at LO-distriktet i Västsverige since August 2017, overseeing the largest district within the Swedish Trade Union Confederation in the Västra Götaland and Halland regions. In addition to this role, Bengt holds several positions including Ordförande at Göteborgsregionens kompetensråd, Styrelseledamot at Regionutvecklingsnämnden and Bussines region Göteborg, and Valnämnden ersättare in Bollebygds kommun. Since July 2013, Bengt has been the Kommunikationschef at IF Metall, responsible for internal and external communication, and has previously served as a board member for Dagens Arbete and Europaportalen. Bengt's leadership experience also includes being Chairman Of The Board for Riksföreningen Teknikcollege Sverige. Educational background includes studies at Gaf and Lindholmens tekniska gymnasium.
