Purnima Thakre

Purnima Thakre has over 10 years of professional experience in operations, strategy, and project management. In 2011, they became the Chief Operations Officer at refine+focus, where they created and implemented internal systems, directed activities related to human resources, information technology, financial planning, accounting, and legal compliance, developed strategic and operational roadmaps, conducted workshops, built strategic frameworks, created business plans and execution timelines, and managed personnel. Purnima also served as an Operations and Strategy Manager at the same company.

In 2015, Purnima joined the Hult Global Alumni Committee as an Advisory Board Member. In 2018, they became a Board Member at Global Arts Live and a Brand Ambassador and Fitness Instructor at BollyX - The Bollywood Workout. Purnima also joined the Board of Tech Goes Home in the same year.

Prior to these roles, Purnima worked as a Strategy Consultant and Project Manager at James Lam and Associates, a Strategy Consultant at The Saint Consulting Group, a Project Development Manager at Tata Realty and Infrastructure Ltd., and an Assistant Manager, Valuation and Strategic Consultancy at Colliers International. Purnima also founded and served as Project Manager and Architect at Architectonics in 2001.

Purnima Thakre completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Real Estate Valuation at IES College of Architecture in March 2002. Purnima then attended Hult International Business School and obtained an MBA in Strategy and Innovation in 2010, followed by a Masters of Finance in Risk Management in 2011. In 2016, they attended Harvard Business School Executive Education and completed a Design Thinking program. Purnima also obtained a Design Thinking certification from Harvard Professional Development Programs in August 2016, and an Idea to Innovation certification from IDEO U. Lastly, they hold a BS Equivalent in Architecture from L S Raheja School of Architecture.
