Willie Quinn

Willie Quinn is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries. Willie currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Bolt Biotherapeutics, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to this, Willie was the CFO and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Sunesis Pharmaceuticals from November 2017 to May 2020.

Before their roles in corporate finance, Willie was involved in various entrepreneurial ventures. Willie co-founded Midnight Pharma in 2013 and served as a Director until February 2019. As the Co-founder and CEO of Bullet Biotechnology, Willie developed products using a customizable capsid platform technology. Willie held this position from September 2011 to November 2017.

Willie also has experience in investment and advisory roles. Willie invested in and served as a Director for Neurogastrx, a private specialty pharma company, from December 2012 to December 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Associate Partner at Mobius Venture Capital from September 1999 to September 2001.

Earlier in their career, Willie held positions at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, where they served as the Executive Director of Corporate Development and managed investor relations from March 2009 to June 2011. Willie also worked as a Senior Director of Licensing & Acquisitions at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, building a portfolio of drug products in neurology and psychiatry.

Willie's earlier experience includes roles at Novation Biosciences as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer from September 2001 to December 2002, and a Summer MBA Internship at Cisco Systems in 1998.

Throughout their career, Willie has demonstrated expertise in financial management, corporate development, investment, and entrepreneurship in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Willie Quinn holds an MBA degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, completing the program between 1997 and 1999. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Japanese Literature at Stanford University. Willie obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language from Stanford University, graduating in the years 1988 to 1992. Before their undergraduate studies, between 1986 and 1988, they attended the Singapore American School, and between 1982 and 1986, they attended the American School in Japan.
