Emily Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Emily began their career as a Musician in the British Army from 2010 to 2014, during which they served as the Saxophone section leader in the orchestra and mentored junior saxophonists. Emily also played an active role in recruitment projects and managed the orchestra's social media.

In 2014, they transitioned to the role of a Team Leader in the British Army, where they continued their recruitment responsibilities while leading the saxophone section. In 2016, Emily took on the position of Recruitment and Engagement Manager, further expanding their recruitment expertise within the British Army. Emily held this role until 2020.

From 2016 to 2022, Emily concurrently ran their own small business named "Emily Williams' Bespoke Hairpieces." As the Small Business Owner, they focused on advertising, designing, and selling bridal and occasion hair accessories. Additionally, they worked closely with clients to create customized pieces and utilized small business platforms for sales.

Emily also gained experience in an HR role at the British Museum as an HR Advisor from 2020 to 2021, before moving on to work as an HR Advisor at Vestd from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Emily holds the position of People and Culture Manager at Bolt Insight, starting in August 2022.

Emily Williams has a diverse education history. Emily graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2010 with a Bachelor of Music (BMus hons) degree, specializing in Music. In 2009, they also studied at The University of British Columbia, focusing on Music. Following this, they pursued a Master of Laws (LLM) degree at Birkbeck School of Law in the UK from 2012 to 2014. In 2018, they began their studies at CIPD Qualifications and completed the Intermediate Diploma in HR Management (level 5) in 2020, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General. In 2019, they also attended Chartered Management Institute, focusing on First line management.
