Filip Laurian

Filip Laurian is an experienced data science professional with a strong background in quantitative research and machine learning. Currently serving as a Data Science Engineering Manager and former Data Science Team Lead at Bolt since July 2021, Filip previously held positions at WorldQuant from March 2018 to August 2021 as a Senior Quantitative Researcher. Filip’s early career included roles at Dell as a Credit Risk Data Scientist and at BCR as a Statistician, where responsibilities included the development of scoring models and risk parameters. Filip holds a Master’s degree in Algebra and Number Theory and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest, complemented by early academic excellence at Colegiul National Moise Nicoara.
