Samuel Guimaraes

Samuel Guimaraes is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in developing solutions for natural resource management, particularly in crop performance and water security. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Bolt since November 2022, Samuel previously held the position of Lead Data Scientist at Buser Brasil and Senior Data Scientist at SpaceTime Labs, where expertise in computer vision and machine learning was applied to crop yield forecasting. Earlier roles include Senior System Developer at EvoBooks, focusing on digital educational products, System Developer at Software Express, enhancing financial systems, and Junior Developer at Stalwart Fund Management, improving a Forex automation system. Samuel began the career as an Undergraduate Junior Researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of Sao Paulo, developing software for RNA sequencing data analysis. Samuel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
