Lead Engineer at Boltive

Adam Robinson began their professional career in 2015 as an Analyst/Developer at Results Software. In 2017, they were hired by AbacusNext as a Developer, where they worked on full-stack development of the Results product. In 2019, they were accepted to the summer undergraduate research fellowship program at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where they worked on improving a machine learning model designed to interpolate energy values calculated using density functional theory (DFT). In 2020, they became Co-Owner of Based I.T., as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at George Mason University, where they developed a system for automatically recognizing extremely thin (monolayer) layers of transition metal dichalcogenide flakes in microscope images and performed Raman spectroscopy measurements on various samples. In 2021, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Boltive, creators of Ad Lightning, and a Machine Learning Engineer at George Mason University. Currently, they are a Lead Engineer at Boltive, where their work is concerned with applying machine learning to the ad-quality and CCPA/GDPR compliance space. Theirprimary responsibilities include development and implementation of next-generation technology, using machine learning and computer vision, for detection of malicious or bad quality ads, finding, analyzing and rectifying cost inefficiencies in their use of AWS services, and supervision of software engineers.

Adam Robinson attended George Mason University from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics. Prior to that, they attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2013 to 2014, studying Computer Engineering.
