Emily Duran (Bulfer Cingilli)

Emily (Bulfer) (Cingilli) Duran has a diverse range of work experience. Emily started their career at Easy Systems Inc. as a Student Internship - Tester in 1999. Emily then worked as a Webmaster at Augustana College (SD) from 2000 to 2001. Emily later joined Kaardal & Associates, P.C. as an MIS Tech, where they designed and maintained the company's website, built a database computer system, and installed a new server.

In 2002, Emily joined Ehlers as an Office Assistant/IT Tech, where they provided administrative support and IT assistance. Emily then worked at MHC Software, Inc. as a Software Support Specialist, where they troubleshooted and resolved bugs in .NET applications and developed enhancements to Document Self-Service Web-based applications. Emily also worked as a Programmer at MHC Software, Inc., where they built routine files, updated and maintained tax-related forms, and wrote technical specifications for enhancements.

From 2012 to 2015, Emily served as an Interactive & Electronic Media Specialist at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. In this role, they upgraded websites, implemented iPad-specific sites, and redesigned websites for the casino.

Emily then worked at Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota as a Web Manager from 2015 to 2016. Emily managed and implemented a responsive redesign of the organization's websites and used web analytics to improve web initiatives.

In 2016, Emily joined Bolton & Menk, Inc. as a Microsoft 365 Administrator/Web Developer. Emily managed the roll-out of Microsoft Teams and LastPass, developed custom automation solutions using various Microsoft tools, and integrated SharePoint.

In 2020, Emily became the Co-Founder/Web Developer/Administrator at Duran Homes LLC. Emily designed and maintained the company's website and tenant portal, managed tenant requests and maintenance, and handled policy changes.

Most recently, Emily has pursued a career as a Children's Book Author, starting in 2021.

Emily (Bulfer) (Cingilli) Duran completed their high school education at Fairmont High School from 1994 to 1998. Emily then pursued higher education at Augustana University (SD) from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science & Management Information Systems. In addition to their formal education, in November 2014, Emily obtained a certification in "An Introduction to Interactive Programming in Python" from Coursera Verified Certificates.
