Grant Meacci

Grant Meacci has a diverse and extensive work experience in urban design, landscape architecture, and planning. Grant'smost recent position is as a Senior Urban Designer + Project Landscape Architect at Bolton & Menk, Inc. Since 2015, they have held various roles at the City of Charlotte, including Assistant Director & Design + Preservation Division Manager, where they managed a team of architects, landscape architects, preservation planners, and urban designers. Prior to their work in Charlotte, Grant worked as a Managing Urban Designer at the City of Raleigh Urban Design Center. Grant also has experience as an Executive Director at Community Development Studio, Inc. and Design Workshop Foundation. Earlier in their career, Grant held positions at The LandArt Company | DDC Engineers, Inc., The Hayter Firm | Hayter, Reynolds & Jewell, and NC State University - Landscape Services. Grant Meacci attended Cornell University from 1994 to 1996 and obtained a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture. Prior to that, they studied at North Carolina State University from 1988 to 1992 and earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture. In terms of additional certifications, Grant Meacci became a North Carolina Professional Landscape Architect in June 2001, certified by the NCBOLA (North Carolina Board of Landscape Architects).
