Philipp Nagel

GIS Developer at Bolton & Menk, Inc.

Philipp Nagel has a diverse work experience that spans multiple roles and industries. Philipp started their career as an intern at the Center for Rural Policy and Development in 2012. Later that year, they worked as an intern at Esri's APL division. In 2009, Philipp joined Minnesota State University, Mankato, initially working as an administrative assistant and research assistant before becoming a geography teaching assistant and eventually an instructor. Philipp also pursued a graduate degree during this time. From 2014 to 2016, Philipp served as a GIS coordinator and highway asset manager at Sibley County. Philipp then moved on to work as a GIS coordinator at City of Waseca from 2016 to 2018. Since 2018, Philipp has been employed at Bolton & Menk, Inc., first as a GIS specialist and currently as a GIS developer.

Philipp Nagel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2011. Philipp also received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Professional Geography from the same university in 2010. In addition, Nagel earned a Certificate in Geographic Information Science and a Master's degree in Geography, both from Minnesota State University, Mankato, completing them in 2010 and 2014 respectively.
