Elio M. Ruggi

Elio M. Ruggi, P. Eng., is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President, Chief Engineer, and Head of Quality at MHI RJ Aviation ULC since June 2020, Ruggi previously held significant positions at Bombardier from December 2011, including Head of Engineering, Quality, and Technical Services for the CRJ Aircraft Program, and Executive Senior Director overseeing various aircraft development and operations. With a robust background in aeronautical engineering, including roles in product development and certification, Ruggi has managed large teams and budgets, contributing to the successful launch of multiple aircraft models. Ruggi holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Concordia University and a Pure & Applied Science degree from Vanier College.
