Gervais Arel

Gervais Arel, P.Eng. MBA, currently serves as the Director of Digital Development, Data Science & AI for Connected Aircraft Services at Bombardier, overseeing a team focused on Aircraft Health Monitoring Systems and product management initiatives. With experience managing diverse teams and projects at Bombardier since 2011, Gervais has held various roles including Manager of Connected Aircraft & Health Monitoring, Supervisor of Strategy, Industrial Engineering & Planning, and Product Manager for Business Aircraft. Prior to Bombardier, Gervais worked as an Operations Engineer for the Government of Alberta, earning the 2012 Minister's Award for Transportation Innovation, and has additional field engineering experience with Kiewit, alongside multiple internships in process and design engineering. Gervais holds an MSc in Finance, an MBA, and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma.
