Igor Sertic

Igor Sertic is an accomplished procurement professional with extensive experience in the transportation sector, currently serving as the Director of International Procurement Organisation for Eastern Europe at Bombardier Transportation since February 2001. In this role, Igor supports various divisions in procurement activities across Eastern Europe, leading cross-functional teams, identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating purchase contracts, and overseeing supplier evaluation processes. Previously held positions include Head of International Procurement Organisation for Eastern Europe Group Procurement and Manager of Site Procurement, where responsibilities encompassed local sourcing and framework agreements. Igor began a career in procurement as a Commodity Buyer before transitioning to a Buyer for electrical components at Balcke Durr. Educational qualifications include a MEc in Economics from the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and a BS in Economics from the University of Sarajevo.
