Matthew Berman is an accomplished leader in programmatic media with extensive experience in strategic consulting and investment. Currently serving as the Head of Programmatic at Google since January 2020, Matthew leads a team focused on programmatic sales across various consumer sectors. In addition to this role, Matthew is an advisor at Serac Ventures and a limited partner at Visible Hands, both supporting innovative early-stage ventures. Matthew has also made several investment contributions to companies such as Jolie, Sway, Bombas, and BrightLot. Previous roles include Senior Director at SocialCode and Director of Programmatic Strategy at Wunderkind. Matthew holds a BS in Criminology from the University of Maryland, completed in 2009.
