Lesetja Marcus

Lesetja Marcus has a diverse work experience in the fields of security and law enforcement. Lesetja worked as an Assistant Station Head Security at Bombela Operating Company (PTY) LTD from May 2018 onwards, where they were responsible for ensuring compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards. Lesetja also monitored security indicators and trends and conducted assessments to mitigate potential losses. Additionally, they coordinated the deployment of security systems and technologies.

Prior to this role, Lesetja worked at SAPS for many years. From June 2010 to February 2016, they served as a Team Lead, supervising and allocating work to subordinates. Lesetja also focused on enhancing their knowledge and maintaining good working relations. From June 1997 to May 2010, Lesetja worked as an Investigator, gaining experience in conducting investigations.

Lesetja Marcus has a diverse education history with a focus on security risk management and homeland security. Lesetja started their education at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 2005, where they earned a National Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services in 2009. During this time, they also pursued a National Diploma in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General, which they completed in 2009 as well.

In 2010, Lesetja Marcus returned to the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika to further their studies in the field of security risk management. Lesetja obtained a National Diploma in Security Risk Management, specializing in homeland security, law enforcement, firefighting, and related protective services in 2014.

Continuing their education, Lesetja Marcus pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Advanced Dipl Security Risk Management at the same institution. Lesetja completed this degree program in 2019.

Most recently, Lesetja Marcus has been attending the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Homeland Security. Lesetja began this program in 2021 and is expected to finish in 2023.
