Giovani Schiavone

Giovani Schiavone has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Giovani has held various managerial positions in well-established companies.

Starting from their most recent position, Giovani has worked as the LATAM Industrial Engineering Director at Bomi Group / UPS Healthcare since June 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Operations Excellence Director at Bomi / UPS, where they were responsible for developing the regional Operational Excellence team in Latin America.

Before joining Bomi Group / UPS, Giovani was employed at Mondelēz International as the Director of Logistics Operations and Customer Services in their Supply Chain Management. In this role, they managed the end-to-end supply chain and implemented strategic projects for Mondelēz Brazil.

Giovani also gained significant experience working for DHL Supply Chain as the Director of Logistics Operations and Supply Chain. During their tenure, they strategically managed accounts for global clients in the Consumer sector, focusing on strategic planning, operational management, and achieving financial goals.

Prior to DHL, Giovani served as the Senior Manager of Supply Chain and Operations at Martin Brower - Brazil. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain, developing business strategies, managing projects, and implementing new technologies and processes.

Giovani began their career at TECSIS - Clean Power for the World as the Manufacturing and Logistics Operations Manager. Giovani supervised the manufacturing process, logistics operations, and ensured quality control.

Prior to TECSIS, Giovani worked at Embraer as the Program Manager for Executive/Commercial Aviation. Giovani managed projects, supported customer services, and implemented continuous improvement initiatives.

Giovani's early career started at Volkswagen do Brasil as an Engineer in Manufacturing and Process for the painting division. Giovani played a vital role in the startup of a new painting plant and participated in global alignment projects.

Throughout their career, Giovani Schiavone has demonstrated strong leadership and the ability to drive operational excellence, implement strategic initiatives, and achieve financial goals for the companies they have worked for.

Giovani Schiavone has a solid education history with degrees and certifications in engineering and project management. Giovani obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from UERJ from 1995 to 2000, and then pursued an MBA in Project Management from Fundação Dom Cabral in 2002-2003. In 2009-2010, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Administration and Business from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Later, in 2019-2020, they completed a Master's degree in Engineering of Production from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba. Additionally, they have a post-graduate degree in Project Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, obtained in 2003. Giovani also holds a certification in Project Management (PMP) from PMI-OC Project Management Institute Orange County Chapter.
