Sol Taylor

Sol Taylor is a finance professional with extensive experience in various senior roles. Currently serving as the Interim Head of Finance at Bon Accord Care since February 2025, Sol previously held the position of Head of Finance at activpayroll from May 2023 to December 2024. Prior to this, Sol worked at Johnston Carmichael Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers for nearly a decade, ultimately advancing to the role of Audit Senior Manager. The tenure at Johnston Carmichael, the largest independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers in Scotland, was preceded by a progressive career at Peters Elworthy & Moore (PEM) as an Audit Manager, Qualified Accountant, and Trainee Accountant. Sol's academic background includes a Master's degree in Mathematics and Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2004.
