Eric MacHaria

Eric Macharia has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Eric is currently the Director of Operations at Bon Appétit Management Company, where they lead a large team and is responsible for building strong relationships with stakeholders and achieving key performance indicators. Prior to this, Eric worked at Valparaiso University, where they held the positions of Executive Director of Administration and Associate Director of Administration. In these roles, they managed multi-million-dollar budgets, collaborated with legal teams, and oversaw various projects. Eric also has experience as a General Manager and Managing Partner at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, where they achieved top sales for the region. Eric has also worked at Compass Group USA, serving as the Senior Director of Residential Dining, Senior Marketing Director, and Director of Retail Operations. In these positions, Eric successfully managed revenues, transitioned associates to a new account, created partnerships, and increased sales through strategic marketing planning. Their diverse experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills and expertise in managing teams and achieving operational excellence.

Eric Macharia has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from Valparaiso University. Eric also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Southeast Missouri State University. In addition, Eric has obtained certifications in ServSafe from the National Restaurant Association in September 2022 and Foodservice Management Professional from the same institution in 2006.
