Laura Amato

Laura Amato has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. From 2020 to the present, they have worked at Bon Me, where they currently hold the position of VP of Business Development. Prior to this role, they worked as the Catering and Marketing Manager at Bon Me from 2020 to 2022.

In 2018, Laura worked as a Program Manager at the New England Grassroots Environment Fund. Laura also gained experience as a Marketing and Administrative Intern at CommonWealth Kitchen from January to November 2018.

Before that, Laura served as the Food Economy Coordinator for the City of Revere, MA, from 2017 to 2018. Laura also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Tufts University from August 2017 to May 2018, and as a Research Assistant from June 2016 to December 2017.

Laura started their career as a Program Assistant at the Syracuse University Environmental Finance Center from August 2014 to August 2016.

Laura Amato has a diverse education history. Laura first attended Occidental College from 2010 to 2014, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Sociology. In 2013, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Amsterdam for a brief period. Later, they continued their academic journey at Tufts University from 2016 to 2018, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning.
