Dr. Marc Torrent Moreno

Dr. Marc Torrent Moreno has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Dr. Marc is currently the Head of Data & Analytics at Bon Preu S.A.U. Prior to this, they were a member of the Advisory Council at m4Social. Dr. Marc has also served as an Academic Collaborator at ESADE Business & Law School. From 2020 to 2021, they were the Director of the CIDAI - Centre of Innovation for Data Tech and Artificial Technology. Dr. Marc was the Director of Big Data & Data Science at Eurecat - Technology Centre of Catalonia from 2015 to 2021. Before that, they held the Director position at the Big Data Center of Excellence Barcelona from 2015 to 2020. Dr. Marc Torrent Moreno started their education journey in 1995 at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a M.Sc. degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Dr. Marc successfully completed this program in the year 2000.

Following that, Dr. Torrent Moreno enrolled at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2004 for a doctoral degree in Informatik - Telematik. Dr. Marc dedicated himself to their studies for three years and received the title of Dr. Ing. in 2007.

In 2012, Dr. Torrent Moreno decided to enhance their education further by pursuing an Executive MBA at Esade. Dr. Marc completed this program in the following year, 2013.
