Cassandra Lewis

Cassandra Lewis, DNP, ACNP-BC, serves as the Richmond Market Chief Nursing Officer and has held multiple leadership positions within Bon Secours Mercy Health since March 2018, including Hampton Roads Market Chief Nurse and Chief Quality Officer. With extensive experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Director of Inpatient Advanced Practice Clinicians, Cassandra leads a team of over 30 advanced practice clinicians and plays a pivotal role in optimizing the use of nearly 200 practitioners within the market. Previous roles include Director of Advanced Practice at Bon Secours Virginia Health System and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at VCU Health System, along with foundational experience as a Registered Nurse in both pediatric intensive care and emergency settings. Cassandra holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nurse Executive Management from Old Dominion University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University.
