Doug Martin

Doug Martin, PMP has extensive work experience in project management and facility management. Doug currently holds the role of Director of Design and Construction at Bon Secours Mercy Health. Previously, they served as the Executive Director of Facilities at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where they oversaw various areas such as budgeting, operations, maintenance, engineering, design, and construction. Prior to that, Doug worked at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District as the Director of Civil Works Project Management, where they led technical project teams in planning and executing infrastructure projects. Doug also held various roles at Norfolk Naval Shipyard, including Operations Director, Planning Director, Project Management Director, and Public Works.

Doug Martin, PMP has a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from Old Dominion University. Doug also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Doug Martin has obtained several certifications including the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Doug also holds certifications in Advanced Scuba Diving, Boating Skills & Seamanship, CPR, Corps of Engineers Project Manager Level II, EIT, Executive Leadership Development Program, Facilities Engineer Level II, Nitrox Scuba Diver, and PADI Advanced Diver.
