Megan Douglas

Megan Douglas, MBA, SHRM-CP has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources. Megan currently serves as the Director, HR Strategic Partner at Bon Secours Mercy Health, where they work closely with executive leadership to provide strategic solutions for the Springfield market, including medical centers, hospitals, and outpatient services. Megan'sresponsibilities include addressing complex business challenges, such as change management, employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational design, and compensation. Megan also plays a significant role in throughput initiatives for the hospital, implementing the Four Disciplines of Execution.

Prior to joining Bon Secours Mercy Health, Megan worked at Kettering Health Network as a Human Resources Manager and a Human Resources Business Partner from 2017 to 2021. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in managing various HR functions and serving as a strategic partner for the organization.

Before their tenure at Kettering Health Network, Megan worked at Magnetic Mobile and Marxent. As the Human Resources Lead at Magnetic Mobile, they played a pivotal role in the company's growth from a small team of 10 employees to over 100 employees. At Marxent, they served as the Human Resources Office Manager and an HR Generalist, demonstrating their proficiency in managing HR operations and providing support to employees.

Megan Douglas, MBA, SHRM-CP, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Wright State University in 2014. Megan then went on to complete a Master Certificate in Human Resource Management from Villanova University in 2016. In 2019, they obtained their MBA in Human Resources Management and Services from Indiana Wesleyan University. Megan also holds the certification of SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), which they obtained in August 2018 from SHRM.
