Thomas Tortora

Thomas Tortora has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Thomas started their career as a Senior Accountant at heveron & heveron, where they worked in tax and audit departments, specializing in non-profit institutions. Thomas then joined Arthur Andersen as a Staff Accountant, further expanding their knowledge in tax and business entities.

In 2000, Tortora joined Mastro Graphics as the CFO/General Manager, where they played a significant role in transforming the family-run business into an enterprise-level organization. Thomas improved productivity, created processes, and enhanced the overall product.

In 2011, Tortora became the COO of DegreeMatch.com, a subsidiary of ClickSpark, where they focused on education lead generation through various marketing strategies. Thomas also served as the COO/Owner of ClickSpark, leading finance and operations departments and driving lead flow for Fortune 500 companies and other clients.

Tortora's expertise in sales operations was showcased during their role as the Director of Sales Operations at LiDestri Food & Drink. Thomas executed the sales and operations planning process and aligned it with existing organizational processes.

Currently, Tortora is the Director of Business Development at The Bonadio Group, where they are responsible for developing enterprise-level processes to support the company's growth in the Out Source Accounting group. Thomas focuses on optimizing automation, overseeing client-facing work, and ensuring quality and timely completion of projects.

Thomas Tortora attended SUNY Brockport from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Brockport High School from 1985 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, Thomas Tortora obtained the "Fighting Gender Bias at Work" certification from LinkedIn in December 2021. Thomas also holds certifications such as "Sage Intacct Implementation Certified Consultant" from Sage Intacct, Inc. in March 2021, "Bill.com Certified" from Bill.com in December 2019, and "Sage Intacct Accounting Specialist" from Sage Intacct, Inc. in August 2019.
