Alex Polfliet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy and sustainability. Currently serving as a board member at Bond Beter Leefmilieu and a senior advisor at AYA, Alex previously directed Zero Emission Solutions from 2009 to 2022, after managing sustainable energy initiatives at Summit Energy and working as an energy consultant at Siemat Energy. Alex's early career included responsibilities in government roles, specifically as attaché to the energy cabinet focusing on nuclear phase-out and renewable energy, and leadership positions in student organizations. Education was attained at Ghent University from 1980 to 1984.
