Rense Verweerden

Rense Verweerden is a professional with diverse experience in communication, marketing, and education. Currently serving as a Communication and Marketing specialist at Bond Beter Leefmilieu since January 2021, Rense previously worked as a Content Writer at Creatic Digital Agency and contributed to education as a Teacher at Kusi Kawsay Andean School, focusing on Spanish and English and co-developing the EMPower project related to gender equality and sexual health. Additional experience includes working as Camp Staff at Trailside Discovery Camp in Alaska, where Rense engaged children in environmental education, and as Head of Public Relations at KU Leuven, managing stakeholder communications and marketing campaigns. Rense holds multiple degrees from KU Leuven and other institutions, encompassing fields such as education, international cooperation, and literature.
