Bioprocess engineer at Bond Pet Foods

Uriel Hernandez has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. In 2008, they worked in customer service for a greenhouse store. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as an intern in the instrumentation department of the Unidad de Investigación y Desarrollo en Alimentos. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as an upstream engineer at FERMIC SA DE CV, where they were responsible for monitoring, control and operation of pilot bioreactors and equipment for centrifugation, ultra and micro filtration and dryers. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as the Deputy Head of pilot plant at FERMIC SA DE CV, where they were responsible for fermentation and upstream engineering, managing assistant, and coordinator of a team working on different projects. In 2022, they began working as a bioprocess engineer at Bond Pet Foods.

Uriel Hernandez completed a MSc in Biochemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham from 2016 to 2017. From 2009 to 2013, they obtained an Ingeniería degree in Ingeniería bioquímica from the Instituto Tecnológico de Veracruz. Additionally, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt (ICYB) certification from LEAN SIX SIGMA INTERNATIONAL in December 2020.
