Kelly McDonald

Kelly McDonald is a senior executive assistant at Bond University. Kelly has over fifteen years of experience in the legal field, with a focus on residential and commercial transactions.

Kelly began their career as a paralegal with Trey Inman & Associates in April 2004. In this role, they were responsible for assisting lawyers with the preparation of documents necessary to comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Kelly also gathered information that may be used in closings or provided to lenders and brokers.

In November 2007, Kelly became a title examiner with the company. In this role, they researched public records and examined titles to determine their status and establish a chain of title. Kelly also reviewed and analyzed deeds, easements, judgments, tax assessments, and other instruments.

Kelly’s duties included intake of new matters, drafting documentation, proofreading and file maintenance, attending closings, recording of closing documents, disbursing of funds for commercial and residential transactions, performing research of complex matters, and post-closing.

In their current role as a senior executive assistant at Bond University, Kelly is responsible for providing administrative support to the vice president and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the university.

Kelly McDonald has a degree in European history from Queens University of Charlotte. Kelly is currently a field researcher for European history.

They work with Michael Dean - Company Secretary and General Counsel, Catherine Marks - Vice President, Engagement, and Ken Richardson - Vice President, Operations. Kelly McDonald reports to Tim Brailsford, Vice Chancellor and President.
