Jessica DeAcetis

Dr. Jessica DeAcetis grew up on Long Island and is one of the many that has always wanted to become a veterinarian for as long as she can remember. She completed her veterinary education at Western University of Health Sciences in California followed by a one-year general medicine and surgery internship, then one-year small animal surgery internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists. Since then, she has worked in both emergency medicine and in general practice. Dr. DeAcetis’ veterinary interests include: dentistry, soft tissue-surgery, and behavior in both canines and felines. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, snowboarding, yoga, and exploring new cities and countries. Dr. DeAcetis currently shares her home with a black domestic shorthair cat named Chloe and a Toy Fox Terrier/Rat Terrier mix named Adelaide.
