Gerardo Navarro

Gerardo Navarro is a seasoned visual effects professional with extensive experience in 3D artistry and matte painting. Currently serving as Lead 3D / Junior Matte Painter at BOND since November 2016, Gerardo has contributed to several high-profile projects, including "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Prior freelance work from July 2015 to June 2023 involved creating photorealistic environments using high-resolution images and 3D elements. Gerardo's background also includes roles at Deluxe 3D and Stereo D, where skills in digital matte creation and compositing for stereoscopic films were honed on projects such as "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World." Additionally, Gerardo holds a Matte Painting degree from CG Master Academy and a Bachelor of Science in Media Arts & Animation with a focus on Visual Effects from the Art Institute of Los Angeles.
