David Gardner

David Gardner is a retired American business executive with over 25 years of experience in the global asset management industry, most notably as a founding member of the iShares global ETF business in 2000. During a 12-year tenure with iShares, David lived and worked across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, ultimately retiring in January 2013 after the business was sold to BlackRock. Currently, David serves as an Independent Trustee for Thornburg ETF Trust and as a Senior Advisor to the CEO at BondBloxx, while also holding a board position with Thornburg Investment Trust. Based in Santa Barbara, CA, David actively seeks directorship and advisory opportunities to guide and develop various business ventures.
