Shahar Balaban

Shahar Balaban is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and financial leadership. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at BondIT since July 2020, Shahar previously held investment management roles at Harel Insurance & Finance from December 2015 to July 2020, including positions as Investment Manager and Private Equity Analyst. Prior to that, Shahar worked as a Trader and Analyst at Migdal Capital Markets and as a Senior Associate in Assurance Services at EY. Shahar's early career includes roles as a Private Yachts Skipper and significant service in the Israel Defense Forces, where responsibilities included Head Weaponry Officer for the Patrol Boats Fleet. Shahar holds an MBA in Finance from Duke University, another MBA in Financial Management from Tel Aviv University, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from The College of Management Academic Studies.
