Fredrik Karlsson has a diverse work experience starting from 2007. Fredrik worked as a Process Developer at Euro Diagnostica AB from February 2007 to May 2011. Then, they worked as a Scientist, leading projects in research and development, from May 2011 to February 2012. After that, they were a Senior Scientist involved in development studies, process changes, and project leadership from March 2012 to March 2014.
From April 2014 to November 2016, Fredrik served as a Team Manager, Senior Scientist, and Product Support in Euro Diagnostica AB. During this time, they provided post-market support for in vitro diagnostic products and supported various company functions such as QA, Tech Ops, Market, and Sales.
In December 2016, Fredrik became the Product Support and QC Manager at Euro Diagnostica AB, managing a QC department and a Product Support department. Fredrik was responsible for product development, process validations, and quality control. Fredrik held this position until August 2017.
From September 2017 to June 2020, Fredrik was the Production Manager at Euro Diagnostica AB. Fredrik led three manufacturing teams and a support team, focusing on the production of IVD-products and biological reagents. Fredrik achieved significant reductions in lead time, increased predictability, and reduced manufacturing costs.
Most recently, Fredrik has been working at Apoteket Produktion och Laboratorier, Apl Malmö since June 2020 as a Gruppchef, responsible for managing about 20 manufacturing technicians. Fredrik ensures their training, motivates and directs them to optimize workplace productivity, and promotes their professional growth. Fredrik also oversees workflow and boosts employee performance on a daily basis.
The latest addition to Fredrik's work experience is as the Director of Operations at BONESUPPORT AB starting from March 2022.
Fredrik Karlsson pursued their education with determination and focus, beginning with their Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at Lund University. Fredrik enrolled in the program in 1991 and successfully completed it in 1997.
After their impressive performance in biochemistry, Fredrik Karlsson decided to further advance their knowledge and scholarly pursuits. This led him to The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, where they embarked on a challenging and rigorous PhD program in Engineering, specifically in the field of Immunotechnology. Fredrik commenced their PhD studies in 1998 and dedicated himself to the program for six years, completing it in 2004.
Throughout their educational journey, Fredrik Karlsson showed an unwavering commitment to expanding their expertise in the realm of science and technology. Their time spent at Lund University and The Faculty of Engineering undoubtedly equipped him with an extensive background in diverse subjects and the necessary skills to excel in their chosen field of study.
