Prior to that, Detlef worked at O&K Antriebstechnik GmbH from April 1990 to January 2015, holding roles such as Quality and Service Manager, Quality Assurance Specialist, and Training Supervisor for CNC machines. Detlef completed a degree as a Staatlich geprüfter Techniker in Betriebstechnik from Technische berufliche Schule 1 Bochum between 1989 and 1993 and began professional training as a Dreher at O&K Antriebstechnik GmbH from 1980 to 1983.
