Matt Alston

Matt Alston is a co-founder at Bonfire since April 2021 and has been involved as a Fellow at On Deck since June 2020. Previously, Matt worked at Uber from August 2017 to May 2020 as a Product Manager and Associate Product Manager. Matt gained experience as a Product Fellow at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers for one year starting in August 2017, and also completed an internship as a Business Software Engineer at Goldman Sachs in the summer of 2016. Early career experiences include serving as a Growth Analyst at Zana.io, a Howard Hughes Summer Research Fellow at Duke University, a Research Assistant at Emory University, and a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Duke University, along with an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Certificate, and is currently pursuing further education at Queen Mary University of London and Ecole Mathias Grünewald.
