Carlyn Lim has been a professional concept artist since 2006. Carlyn began their career at Passion Republic as a lead preproduction artist in 2006. In 2010, they worked as a concept artist for Tall Chair, Inc. and Electronic Arts, Bioware. In 2011, they worked as a concept/production artist for La Noria Film and a concept artist for Trion Worlds, Inc. In 2013, they began working at ArenaNet LLC as a part-time concept artist, eventually becoming the lead concept artist. In 2019, they began working as a freelance concept artist, specializing in character and creature design for games and films, with clients including Blizzard Entertainment, EA, Massive Black/Google, Riot, Gearbox Software and Probably Monsters. In 2020, they began working as a concept artist for Bonfire Studios.
Carlyn Lim attended The One Academy from 2003 to 2006 and earned a Diploma in Animation 3D. Carlyn then attended Academy of Art University from 2008 to 2010, where they earned a Graduate degree in Illustration & 3D.
